The event took place this Thursday at the National Directorate for the Extrajudicial Resolution of Disputes located in Miramar, Luanda Province and was attended by representatives of associations of companies affiliated to CAC.
According to the National Director of CREL, Antónia Yaba, one of the main objectives of the body she directs is to promote access to the Law through extrajudicial means of dispute resolution, with a focus on the rights available to individuals and legal persons.
Conceive, operationalize and implement the best national and international practices to encourage the widespread use of extrajudicial dispute resolution means throughout the country, in particular public extrajudicial Resolution Centres.
On the occasion, Antónia Yaba, presented the operating structure of the Extrajudicial Dispute Resolution Centres, namely: Negotiation, Mediation and Conciliation.
During the meeting, businessmen raised several concerns about the functioning of CREL, with regard to private law and administrative contracts.
The president of the Angola-China chamber of Commerce, Luís Cupenala, said that the meeting was fruitful as it served to provide businessmen with the necessary materials on labor conflicts, as well as conflicts resulting from contracts and agreements between private individuals and public entities.
After the meeting, there was a commitment to organize a more comprehensive event for businessmen who are members of the CAC.
